I spent every summer in the Thousand Islands as a child, and I visited the area in the summer of 2005 for the first time in 20 years and fell in love all over again.  I got home to Washington, DC and couldn't stop thinking about the islands and how nice it would be to spend the whole summer there. I called one real estate agent, then another, and I never even got a return call.  I called Ruth and I immediately knew I was in good hands.  She listened to what I wanted, was very knowledgeable about all aspects of writing a contract, building a home in the area, and the ins and outs of buying real estate in New York State.  She patiently showed us many beautiful homes. When I started considering residential homes Ruth reminded me of my original purpose: to be able to see the river all day long.  She found us the perfect spot in a beautiful historic area with a phenomenal view.  Everyone who comes up to our place agrees, there is nothing in the world like the Thousand Islands.  Without Ruth's patience and perseverance I might not be in this beautiful place at all.  I plan to spend every summer there for as long as I can!
